It all started out with a shot from the future, literally. A future Peter Petrelli, carved and molded from the fires of anguish and torture that the genocide of mutants in the future face. He went back in time to shoot and kill his brother, Nathan, to prevent the horrors of his future. He succeeded in killing him, but he just put the fate of the world in much darker hands.
A man who has risen to take the place of the assassinated man, is a super himself. However, he holds no love for them. In fact, he wants to kill all of them, including himself. With villians recruited for money, power, or just for similar ideals, this man wants to wage a secret war against heroes. The journalists won't say a thing, for they won't know. On the outside this man is a classic baby-kissing, lover of life and peace. He presents this facade so well, and makes sure that those who know of his true nature are his allies, or are killed.
So, in a world where you, as a super, or you, as a friend who knows of their plight, are hunted like common animals. Will you choose to become a part of your own genocide, or will you risk your friends, family, and yourself by fighting him.
He doesn't care about you, what he cares is about putting you into some friendly fire.
